Usage Note
Blumentopf (plural Blumentöpfe) is the familiar pot for growing flowers or plants. The saucer underneath is an Untersetzer. The idiom damit kann man keinen Blumentopf gewinnen means 'that won't win you any prizes / won't impress anyone'.
