Usage Note
Murren (n) is a collective or continuous grumbling, like a low rumble of dissatisfaction. 'Das Murren der Menge' (The murmuring of the crowd) describes low-level but audible discontent. Unlike Schimpfen, it can be non-verbal — a disapproving murmur without clear words.

"Ohne Murren akzeptierte sie die Entscheidung, obwohl sie anderer Meinung war."
Natural Translation
Without grumbling she accepted the decision, even though she disagreed.
Literal Translation
Without grumbling accepted she the decision, although she of-different opinion was.
