Usage Note

Rotbarsch (Sebastes spp.) is the redfish or ocean perch, a deep-sea fish from North Atlantic waters. It is one of the most commercially important fish in Germany and is widely sold frozen as Rotbarschfilet. Its vivid red colour makes it unmistakable at the fish counter.
