Usage Note
Vorweihnachtszeit refers broadly to the weeks before Christmas, often used in a commercial or atmospheric context rather than a strictly liturgical one. Unlike Adventszeit, it has no fixed start; retailers and media use it from November onwards: in der hektischen Vorweihnachtszeit.
