Usage Note

Meiner Meinung nach explicitly marks a statement as personal opinion, softening it: Meiner Meinung nach geht das nicht. It differs from ich finde in that it is somewhat more formal and phrase-final or phrase-initial. Very common in both spoken and written German when expressing a view.
