Überweisung is the standard German bank transfer, the backbone of paying bills and rent. You fill in an Überweisungsformular or do it online; the SEPA-Überweisung is the EU-wide form. Note the verb überweisen (to transfer) is separable only in form but takes the prefix über- inseparably here.
