Usage Note

Almweg is a path or track leading to or between Almen (Alpine summer pastures). These trails are used by cattle drives, hikers, and farmers; they are typically unpaved and may require sturdy footwear. Marked Almwege appear on Austrian and Bavarian hiking maps.
