Usage Note

Aussichtsplattform is an elevated structure or terrace designed for panoramic viewing, found on towers, mountains, or bridges. Slightly more modern-sounding than Aussichtsturm and used when the structure is a platform rather than a full tower. Plural Aussichtsplattformen.
