Usage Note
Brise is feminine (die Brise). A Brise is a light, pleasant wind, usually force 2-5 on the Beaufort scale. Seewind or Meeresbrise describes the cooling sea breeze along the coast; the word has a positive, refreshing connotation unlike the more threatening Sturm.
