Usage Note
Bundesverfassungsgericht is Germany's supreme court for constitutional matters, located in Karlsruhe. It can strike down laws passed by parliament (Normenkontrolle), adjudicate between constitutional organs, and decide individual constitutional complaints (Verfassungsbeschwerden). It is widely regarded as one of the world's most influential constitutional courts.
