Usage Note

Laparoskopie is a minimally invasive surgical technique using a thin camera tube (Laparoskop) inserted through small incisions in the abdomen. It is used both for diagnosis and treatment, e.g. for appendix removal (Blinddarmentfernung) or gallbladder surgery. Recovery is typically faster than open surgery.
