Verfassungsgericht is a court that rules on the constitutionality of laws and acts, from Verfassung (constitution) and Gericht (court). It is neuter. Germany's federal one, the Bundesverfassungsgericht in Karlsruhe, can strike down laws and decide disputes between state organs.
