Usage Note
jüdisch is the adjective; as in English, the adjective is lowercase in German but a noun like Jude/Jüdin ('Jew') is capitalised. Use it for both religious and cultural references, e.g. die jüdische Tradition. It does not take a capital even at the start of an adjective phrase mid-sentence.
Examples
"Sie feiert die jüdischen Feiertage."
Natural Translation
She celebrates the Jewish holidays.
