Usage Note
Nein danke is the polite formula for declining an offer. The danke softens the refusal and is expected in standard social interaction. In more emphatic refusals one might say nein, wirklich danke to seem more insistent yet still polite.

"Nein danke, ich trinke keinen Kaffee."
Natural Translation
No thank you, I don't drink coffee.
Literal Translation
No thanks, I drink no coffee.
