Usage Note
Widerwillig explicitly marks that someone acts against their wishes or inclination. Widerwillig zustimmen — to agree reluctantly. It is stronger than zögerlich (hesitant) and ungern (unwillingly, but softly). It conveys inner resistance being overcome by necessity or pressure.
