Usage Note

Wortgewandt (lit. 'agile with words') is a positive description of someone who expresses themselves fluently and cleverly in speech. Ein wortgewandter Redner — an articulate speaker. Slightly more colloquial than eloquent and very common in German job references and media descriptions.
