Usage Note
Endometriose is a chronic gynaecological condition in which uterine lining tissue grows outside the uterus, causing severe menstrual pain (Regelschmerzen) and potentially infertility. Diagnosis is often delayed by years. Treatment includes hormonal therapy and surgery.
