Usage Note

Gehaltsabrechnung is the monthly document employers issue showing gross salary, all deductions (Steuern, Sozialabgaben), and the net amount paid. Employees in Germany have a legal right to receive it. Also called Lohnabrechnung or Entgeltabrechnung.
