Usage Note
Heizungsventil is the valve on a radiator (Heizkörper) that controls hot-water flow and thus room temperature. The Thermostatventil (thermostatic radiator valve) with numbered settings 1–5 is ubiquitous in German rentals and central to tenant responsibilities around heating.
