Kapitalerhöhung is when a company raises new equity by issuing additional shares. Ordentliche Kapitalerhöhung requires shareholder approval; bedingte and genehmigte Kapitalerhöhung are alternative mechanisms. Dilutes existing shareholders unless rights are offered.
