Usage Note

Mistel (Viscum album) is a hemiparasitic plant that grows on the branches of trees, most visibly in winter when deciduous hosts are leafless. It features prominently in German Christmas decorations and Celtic mythology. In folk medicine it has been used against high blood pressure (Bluthochdruck).
