gnadenlos (from Gnade, mercy/grace) is close to erbarmungslos but stresses that no forgiveness or leniency is granted. Gnadenlos abstimmen — to vote down without mercy. Colloquially also hyperbolic: gnadenlos schlecht — absolutely terrible.
