Usage Note

Choreograf (also spelled Choreograph) creates and directs dance sequences for ballet, musical, or film. Feminine: Choreografin. The verb is choreografieren. Increasingly used beyond dance, e.g. Kampfchoreograf for action-film fight coordinators.
