Usage Note
Ratenzahlung is repayment of a debt or purchase in multiple scheduled instalments rather than a lump sum. Auf Raten kaufen means to buy on hire purchase. The individual payment is a Rate, and the plan is a Ratenplan or Ratenzahlungsvereinbarung.
